Sleepwalk in HUH

Feb 16 2010

I’m also really touched by the synopsis though I’m not sure who wrote it [- Jessica Williams]。

Sleepwalk is the photographer’s debut book and it’s a highly accomplished publication. Throughout the book we’re taken in a trance-like state around a dream filled New York City. When we arrive everything is silent, people move around us without making a noise. No one looks us in the eye, no one even notices we’re there. Strange things are happening, dozens of people cross the street dressed as angels and no one bats an eyelid. After wandering through the secret areas of Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn we go down to the subway and embark on a silent journey out to the sea. With long shadows on the sandy beach, we wake up before sunset.
