I have been away from this blog for the past month. I have not missed it.

I have been out making photographs again. This is what I had been missing.

The number of “photo blogs” continues to increase. The number of people talking about each other — and often the exact same thing on the exact same day — has exceeded critical mass. It’s all too much…And I’ve found it hard to resist using the words “boring, lame and tired.”

This blog may or may not continue to exist…In any case, I will be typing more slowly…or maybe not at all.

什么逻辑呢？照片让你烦，和写Blog什么关系呢？是“说”烦了，“看”烦了，“看照片”看烦了。

有一阵没去他的Blog，今天一下子吃不准他是不是我记得的什么什么……记得表示我还知道他什么什么是在1416上，查一下，没发中年痴呆，是他。

应该提一下，这小青年是Eggleston的……按我们中国的排行……弟子。毛遂自荐给Egg弄网站，然后就从纽约搬到孟菲斯去了。整理Egg的作品，爱自己拍的时候就出去拍，天天和Egg混在一起。

忽然又去弄对焦的事。起因是看到有人把对焦想得很飘渺，又在似是而非的劝解下，打算放弃的样子。

理解和操作真的很简单，要的只是开头时候的耐心。

做了个专页Focusing。

大幅对焦我就学到这程度。实拍中问题多了，窍门多了。关键不是操作，是在一个具体景中，如何看出最合算的对焦平面。

一两年前我有时会向人介绍，其实在比较近的老朋友中间，我的脚色首先是个写作的。一两年前我还说过，停手久了，我现在患写字阳痿。但真到今天不举了，就不太敢这样说话了。一个摄影专题说明，写了一年，还没出来。
