"Located in the heart of midtown Manhattan [New York, U.S.A.], behind the New York Public Library's main branch, Bryant Park is an urban oasis." [- bryantpark.org] I have passed through the park every working day for six straight years until the office moving back to the Chinese Flushing.
I was recalling the site located 45 minutes subway ride away and out of my sight for a whole year, and started to assemble this series, with a modest intimacy. It was not until the photos lined up that I found out I had never been a part of the park, just like somewhere else I had left behind. It is as if I passed by a neighbor's and enjoy his front yard, ending up exchanging a discreet glance with the daughter.
